Craniosacral Therapy
Our craniosacral therapists are Rosie Owen, Kate Thomson and Hanife De Feo (click on names for more information and therapist websites)
Rosie is a registered biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist. She first became aware of Craniosacral Therapy through personal treatment and was so impressed with the results that she decided to train as a therapist.
Rosie sees herself as the happy medium between the ‘alternative health’ and business and media worlds. She has previously worked in event management and magazine publishing, so fully understands office stress!
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle form of holistic body therapy, working on a deep and powerful level with the anatomy and physiology of the body to provide deep relaxation and revive one’s sense of wellbeing. It involves a light hand contact to ‘listen’ to your natural tissue and fluid rhythms, promoting the body’s ability to heal itself. It is particularly effective in the form of a short course of treatments.
Craniosacral Therapy can be beneficial for a wide range of health issues including: headaches, back and joint pain, digestive problems, stress and fatigue and sleep issues. Rosie is particularly interested in developing Craniosacral Therapy in the prevention and treatment of sports injuries.
Kate has over 10 years experience of working in body health and wellbeing.
Her therapies are patient centered and she will often combine them or use them individually to provide a treatment which is specifically tailored to your needs and conditions.
She has experience of working with pregnancy, babies, children, teenagers, and adults with a range of problems including abuse, autism and aspergers, learning difficulties, relationships, fertility, headaches and neck and back pain.
